Do I keep my net on all year round?

We recommend to install in the fall and remove it in the spring.

Do I need to do anything with my net while it is on the pond?

Make sure to occasionaly blow off leaves that have landed on the net. If too many leaves build up and gets wet the net will start to sag.

Can a net protect my Koi from predators?

Yes, a net is one of the best ways to protect your Koi from predators. Some Koi pond owners keep their net on year round for this reason.

Can I reuse my net?

After a year of use the net may have taken on some damage, but most of the time a net can be reused 4 or 5 years before needing to be replaced.

Can frogs still get in and out of the pond?

Upon request we can leave a small opening in the net for the frogs to enter and leave the pond at will.

Where can I store my net in the summer?

We normally recommend storing your nets in your crawlspace.
